Calcium and Magnesium Oxide ((CaO MgO). Calcined dolomite

Three manufacturing centres of Calcium and Magnesium Oxide or Calcined Dolomite, with a strategic location to supply nationally and internationally.

Calcined dolomite is a material, which plays an important role in the steel sector, both for its purifying action and for its protective action of refractory lining.

From dolomite minerals such as calcium carbonate and magnesium (Ca Mg (CO3) 2, through a calcination process we can obtain calcium and magnesium oxide or calcined dolomite.

Ca Mg (CO3)2 + Heat → CaO MgO

Calcined dolomite is found in the steel and iron industry applications, such as in scorifiers, refractory lining protector, in agriculture as a soil conditioner and in the environmental sector as water treatment among others.

Calcinor has three dolomite production centres, which due to it strategic location and proximity to the coastline ensure delivery to anywhere on the Spanish peninsula and to the foreign market.

It also offers the possibility to produce tailor-made products for every application, by adding appropriate calcium oxide parts.
