Natural Aggregate

They are inert solid materials of assorted size, used in formulations with other binders in the production of concrete, asphalts and mortars.

It is the second most consumed raw material by humans after water.

The natural aggregate is characterised by their chemical composition, physical stability and granulometric size. The use of this raw material is essential to the socioeconomic development infrastructure of a country, and is reflected by the quality of social life.

They are inert solid materials of assorted size, used in formulations with other binders in the production of concrete, asphalts and mortars. They are also directly used in fillers, road surfaces or railway ballast.

Calcinor has sections for aggregate washing as well as grinding and particle classification units, which minimize the presence of impurities that exist in the ground, ensuring a constant and homogeneous composition.

All of this gives rise to a wide range of products, which are filled with aggregates to classified minerals for more specific applications - even with colour variation - being the most important company of white aggregate in Cales de la Plana. This range also includes concretes of different technical characteristics, resistances and types of materials used in their production, as well as mortars and asphalts.

As an example of Calcinor´s commitment with the environment and the preservation of natural resources, we offer the opportunity to incorporate into formulations:

  • Recycled construction materials (RCD)
  • Iron and Steel aggregates
