History

A calcined limestone factory was inaugurated in 1970 in Chilches (Castellón), becaming part of Calcinor in 1987 and changing its name to Cales de la Plana S.A.. With three quarries of its own, Poliola (limestone), Peñanegra (Dolomite) and Enguera (Limestone), its activity covers the extraction of calcium arids and their subsequent calcination and hydration,as well as the manufacture of concrete. Today, Cales de la Plana S.A. is the leading company in its area fot its products range.

Products

Cales de la Plana S.A. (CAPLANSA) specialises in the production of calcium oxide and hydroxide (quicklime and slaked lime), aggregates (limestone and dolomitic), ground calcium carbonates and concrete. The company is well known for its high product quality and adaptability to the needs of its customers.

Applications

CAPLANSA supplies its products to several national and international markets: construction, ceramics, animal feed, environmental treatments (thermal power stations and water treatment plants), etc.
