History

The company "Cales y Derivados", located in Morón de la Frontera (Seville), began its activity in 1969 supplying lime products, obtained in a traditional manual way, to the local iron and steel industry. With the entry of Calcinor in this company in 1983, the current Andaluza de Cales S.A. was formed, allowing the updating and modernisation of the existing lime plant. A process of growth and diversification in which the acquisition of new quarries as well as the production of new products such as Dolomite has led the company to be present in both national and international markets.

Products

The two work centres, located in the province of Seville, carry out an integrated production process, which includes everything from quarrying to calcination of the limestone and subsequent hydration. The portfolio of products ranges from aggregates, lime and calcined dolomite, to hydroxide of both lime and dolomite.

Applications

The purity of the raw material, the industrial potential and the human factor make it possible to obtain the desired product quality to satisfy the most demanding expectations of customers in the region, but also to reach international markets. Thus, Andaluza de Cales S.A. (ANCASA) has become a leader in the manufacture of calcined products in the Andalusian region.

    The two work centres located in Seville include the exploitation of the quarry for the limestone calcination and its subsequent hydration.
